The great thing about basketball is that it can teach so many life lessons to our youth. Everything will not always go your way. There will be both wins and losses. If you use and develop your God given talents to the best of your ability and learn the lessons along the way, you will come out a winner.

Friends and Fellowship
One of the earliest goals for our programs was to give kids from the WLA Federation an opportunity to meet each other before the first day High School. Playing basketball is a team sport and kids need to learn to work with other players. To have true success, one needs to learn to care about their teammates - bonds that can create lifetime friendships.
